Every year, every part of the process must be done to perfection. Dom Vinique's conviction is that good wine production lies in consistency.
Storage in oak barrels
True to our Slovak terroir, we age several of our wines in Eastern European oak, which is a hybrid of French and American oak. Eastern European oak is distinguished by adding a moderate content of tannic acid to the wine. In addition, the annual rings are closer than on American oak, which reduces shrinkage during the storage phase.
