About the wine
Our vineyards
The Domvinique vineyard is located in the delta between the two rivers, Little and Big Danube. Here we find Slovakia's best wine region, with a subsoil of million-year-old mineral deposits from mountains and shellfish. The location between the rivers ensures that there is always water underground. The combination of soil and water conditions creates completely unique conditions for viticulture. The soil is rich in nutrients, so the vines can grow strong and resistant to the hot summers. The sun's rays can hit up to 35-40 degrees and the cold winters when the temperature goes below freezing.
